Emily Vick Agnew
Emily is a singer, dancer and teacher originally from New Jersey. She is thrilled to share the stage with her Aunt Sally. In addition to teaching music to young children, Emily has performed all over the world. She was a dancer and puppeteer with New York City's LaMama Theatre Company, Loco7 working in both Manhattan and in South America. She worked with Nickelodeon as Dora the Explorer touring Canada, US, Asia and New Zealand. Emily performed this summer in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Toronto with Shakespeare in the Ruff. Her cabaret performances have raised thousands of dollars for organizations focusing on issues like maternal health, the arts and humanitarian aid.
Sally has been singing and making music her entire life. Some of her earliest memories are of people singing. She plays the guitar, ukulele and banjulele and loves to sing. Sally and her niece Emily have been informally singing together since Emily was born. Sally played with the Hot Java Band in Fort Lauderdale. She now resides in Northwestern Florida with her husband, Charlie and is a retired teacher. She spends her time painting, gardening, hiking, cooking and of course making music.
